Part Punk Princess, part organizational wonder, Gabbi always amazes us. Recently she whipped us into shape by masterfully putting all our designs into neatly arranged folders. Oh this just sounds sooo easy — but we dare you to give it a try! Gabbi is also a talented artist having designed some of our mini designs and creating an awesome LSU tiger for one of our clients.
Gabbi is important to each and every one of us because she is our Shipping Savior. She makes sure that all our orders go to the correct addresses and prints out all those shipping labels. And if she isn’t in the studio well it is a long, long afternoon and because none of us can ever print those International labels and customs forms correctly.
Gabbi likes to work at klo rocks because of the environment but we suspect the chocolate that is suspiciously left next to her work area is a big draw as well.

Studio Magician at kathy lo rocks
Emiko joins us from Nagano, Japan. Looking for adventure she moved to San Francisco in 1991.
Emiko met her Persian husband here and now they make their home with two cats, Teymoor and Koochooloo meaning Fighter and Small respectively in Farsi. And let us not forget about her beloved Pet Penguin (featured above).
Emiko is a tremendous joy to have in our studio. She can make anything with her two hands … be in in metal or in Photoshop. And her number goal is to make customers happy. So your jewelry is in good hands as they say.
Emiko’s dream is to go to India and create sand mandalas. If you know of any tours or opportunities let us know.

Zoe .. our studio magician
Zoe is our studio magician who can figure out how to make just about anything work – whether it is your picture that isn’t quite sharp enough, improving a really old photo, or that just too long message to be engraved … she can pull that rabbit right out of the hat.
But what we love most about Zoe is her charm. She adds pizzazz to the studio with her stories, musings and jokes. We love working with Zoe (even though we don’t dare come between her and her music!). Here’s how Zoe feels about working with our team:
“I love working with five amazingly talented women that shock me constantly with their creativity and playful spirits. I love working for a boss that inspires me and cares deeply for her employees and their well-being. I love coming to work everyday and connecting with so many of our wonderful customers with more touching, inspiring, and entertaining stories to go with their photos than i could ever manage to remember!
What I love the most though is having a job that makes me so happy. Everyday before i open the studio door i get a rush of excitement! Who knows what i will learn or laugh about today?
